These mini firewood logs are PERFECT for your small stoves and firepits! They are upcycled from 40-100 year old Kentucky tobacco sticks that were reclaimed from a family barn. They've been planed flat on two sides to remove their patina from decades of hard work (hanging tobacco plants to dry) and kiln dried to 8%-12% moisture content to create the cleanest burning product possible. Each bundle is a mix of hardwoods: White Oak, Poplar and Sycamore. We've found that mixing the 3 species creates a better overall experience. While the White Oak burns the slowest and hottest, the Poplar and Sycamore assist in a quicker ignition and bed of coals. Plus, let's face it, the mini firepits are more about ambiance than heat production. The individual pieces of firewood measure approximately 3" x 1" x 1/2" and are the premium choice for an easy, quick and beautiful fire! Each bundle contains 30 pieces packaged in a burlap sack for storage, convenience and simple gift giving.
