This is a super cool orange and blue live edge coffee table! The top is a 2" thick crotch cut slab of black walnut. I've been working with a lot of walnut lately, so to create something unique, I busted out some dyes and paints for this creation and just had fun! The surface has a white-wash application of layered color pops featuring bright blue, orange and hints of white. The colorful top was then clear-coated in a high grade (non-yellowing) poly. The film finish protects the wood from moisture and scratches and keeps the bright blue and orange colors from bleeding out. The combination of wild colors and organic shape of the walnut slab makes for a one of a kind & functional piece of living room furniture. The top is paired with four steel legs that have adjustable feet. The legs have also been clear-coated and the adjustable feet make sure the table stands straight no matter the floor surface (carpet/wood/tile/uneven flooring). The finished piece is a wicked mix of nature, layered hand painted streaks, bright colors and industrial design. It's modern, handmade, abstract and above all else functional. This coffee table would work well as a color pop in your living room, man cave, she shed, etc. Oh yeah, and for all of you Florida Gators fans and Boise State fans...these are your colors! The finished coffee table measures approximately 33" L × 13 3/4 "-20 3/8" W × 18" H.
