This fireplace mantel is made out of a single hardwood Pine beam. It's a solid piece of wood that measures 62 1/8" L x 7 7/8" D x 3 7/8" thick. The wood has been distressed and stained to provide a more rustic and weathered appearance. It's been hand-planed flat on all sides, sanded smooth, rounded corners and finished in an oil and wax combo. This would make a beautiful statement piece to add above your fireplace. No attachment hardware is provided (as mounting should be done on site by your self or local contractor). I will provide purchaser or contractor a few of the best methods for attaching a large mantel upon request.
