This awesome river table was made from a slab of Cherry that was milled from an urban reclaimed log. It's been kiln dried and sanded smooth. The live edges were removed to create a sleek and linear table top. The wood had a naturally decayed cavity striping the surface, which I filled with a vibrant blue resin. The end result is a gorgeous side table, end table, bed side table, night stand, foyer table, etc which contains natural beauty and a water like feature. The top has been finished in a Zero VOC satin sheen poly. This finish is great for maintaining the aquatic blue resin feature, as it will not amber/yellow over time like oil based finishes. Plus, if leery of chemicals or have smell sensitivities, no worries with this piece. The top has been paired with four raw steel hairpin legs that have been clear coated for protection. This unique table would make a great addition to your living room, foyer, hallway, bedroom, office, she-shed, man cave, etc. It's a nice mix of Mid-Century Modern, Industrial, Rustic, Contemporary and organic design. Measures: Approximately 23 1/2" W x 14 1/2" D x 23 1/2" H. The top is a solid 1 1/2" thick.
