This teal/ turquoise accented walnut live edge coffee table was made out of love and creativity. The top is a crotch-cut live edge slab that contains beautiful colors, curvatures, figuring and wood grains. The wood came off of an urban reclaimed log and after being kiln dried, has been waiting years for me to make something from it. The top slab was cut in half and connected using rectangular slats of walnut to add visual interest. The wooden slats and steel hairpin legs have been painted in a light teal/ turquoise color to provide a pop of color. This piece has been flattened, sanded smooth and finished in an oil and satin poly combo. The film finish will put up with cold drinks, hot coffee, liquid spills and daily living room shenanigans. This awesome coffee table features a stellar blend of organic beauty, modern design, reclaimed/ upcycled materials, Mid-Century flavor, rustic intrigue and bold splashes of color. This cool and unique table is something your house guests will not be able to say, "Hey, I have one just like that!" It's truly an original piece & ready to ship!
