This is a super cool live edge coffee table made from a crosscut/ tree slice slab of English Walnut. It has an organic shape (human torso or hourglass), rich chocolate brown colors and numerous types of figuring that dazzle in the light. The natural wooden top has been kiln dried, flattened, sanded smooth and finished in multiple rounds of a proprietary oil based satin film finish to protect against moisture and scratches. The top has been paired with four raw steel hairpin legs that have been clear coated for protection. Voids and drying checks have been filled with tinted resin. This table would make a great addition to a limited/ smaller living space! It's a modern, rustic, mid century, unique and interesting slice of nature that's just all around awesome! The solid wooden top is around 1 1/4" thick.
