This unique gray coffee table was made from a remnant live edge slab of Maple. The wooden top was upcycled from a larger custom build and made into something natural, yet artistic. The slab used has massive width (46 1/2") and the natural edges are found on the ends. The wood has been kiln dried, flattened, sanded smooth and distressed in a myriad of black and gray colors with hints of the natural wood tones still slightly visible. The end result from introducing the layers of colors resembles the swirls or character seen in marble or precious stones. It's a hazy grouping of hues that invokes thought. The top has been finished in a clear coating urethane to protect against moisture and daily use. The top has been paired with four Danish inspired tapered wooden legs. The wooden legs have painted in a solid light gray and clear coated for protection. The final piece measures approximately 46 1/2" L x 18 1/2" avg W and 14 3/8" H. It sits lower than standard coffee tables intentionally, but if wanting to swap out the current legs for some steel hairpin legs for a finished 16"-18" height, just ask. The bottom of the table features the Kentucky LiveEdge logo branding and has been signed by the artist. This piece is ready to ship!
